Specific Return Instructions
-
- A fee may apply if these instructions
are not followed. The fee will be what we are charged for customs
which is about $30.
-
- Please read the returns
information page to determine if your item is eligible for
return.
-
- Step one:
submit
a request for Return.
- Copy the following information into the
email.
- There is no need to explain, as long as
it is within 30 days of receipt and the item is a returnable
item.
-
- Name:
- Original Order Number:
- Email (to confirm):
- Reason For Return: (not required)
- Items to be Returned: (eg GA1438 - 1 lb)
- Preferred Credit: eg (In store credit, refund onto credit card, exchange)
If you want to exchange please see the detailed comments below.
-
- Please make sure to follow the remaining steps below the detailed return info.
- Please put your original order number
in the subject line after the note to read "ReturnRequest
xxxx". This would be most helpful and will speed up
processing.
-
- You will be issued a gift certificate after this email is received.
If you selected in store credit or exchange, the gift certificate will have a value equal to that of your return.
As soon as the returned items arrive here, the gift certificate will be ready to use. If the item does not
match the one specified for return (including weight) the gift
certificate will be adjusted upon receipt of the return. The
amount of the gift certificate will also reflect the re-stocking
fee. See returns
information for details.
If you select refund, the value of the gift certificate will be $0. In this case the Gift Certificate is simply used as a way to track the item and order information about your return. Your credit card or PayPal account will be credited the value of the return, minus restocking fee, as soon as the items arrive here.
Specific Info for Exchanges:
If you'd like to make an exchange rather than a return you need to consider timing and the selection of your product.
We only authorize credits after the returns arrive here. This can delay an exchange. If you need the product quickly you should consider returning it for a refund and re-ordering what you want without waiting for the return. You will have to pay for the second order before getting a refund for the return.
If you are making an exchange because you ordered the wrong ring, I strongly recommend sending two of the rings you want to match with your return. Include a note that you want them matched and we will contact you as soon as it gets here. This prevents getting another order that is also a product you can't use. We can attempt to troubleshoot which rings you actually wanted via email if you prefer, but there is error in this method and we may be wrong. If you don't have any rings to send, I recommend troubleshooting via email if you need help.
-
- Please wait for the gift certificate
email before completing the rest of these steps.
-
- Step Two:
Write the Gift Certificate Number on a piece of paper and put
it in the box with your item for return.
-
- Step Three: Package your return securely. Most of our products
are quite heavy and break out of some boxes or bags without proper
packaging. Make sure the contents are not loose as they will
burst the box. Low weight returns are best sent in a padded envelope.
-
- Step Four:
Copy the address listed below exactly
and make the notes on the package.
-
- The Ring Lord
- Box 290C RR6
- Saskatoon, SK
- S7K 3J9
- Canada
-
- CANADIAN GOODS RETURNING TO MANUFACTURER
-
- Make sure this last note appears quite
boldly on the box. If this note is missed we will be charged
brokerage or handling. The cost will be charged to you.
-
- Step Five:
Ship the Package
-
- Send the package via POSTAL SERVICE. Do
not send via courier (UPS and FedEx etc). Do not send using an
express service or priority service that boasts getting the package
to us within 2 days. This will cause much grief and will delay
the packages arrival by about a week. Faster
services offered by the US Postal Service may end up being handed
over to a courier that has can't deliver to us.
- If the item is small, do not ask for a
signature. This will get the package to us at least a day faster.
- If you insure the item and you are outside
of Canada, a postal service handling charge will be triggered. This charge varies from $5 to about $8 for postal service options, and will be
passed onto you as part of the return fee. This charge may also be triggered if you claim a value over around $10. Whether to insure and what value you claim is up to you.
