A fee may apply if these instructions
are not followed. The fee will be what we are charged for customs
which is about $30.
Please read the returns
information page to determine if your item is eligible for
return.
Step 1: Returns can be initiated in by reviewing your orders in the customer service area.
- You may request a refund onto the card used for your original order or into your PayPal account
- You may choose to receive an in store credit - this credit can be used to exchange your items for ones you would prefer.
- No refund or credit will be issued until the returned items arrive back here. This unfortunately includes items that were shipped as our mistake that you are exchanging. If timing is a concern, you can pay for a new order and get a refund for the exchange once it arrives here.
- If you are making an exchange because you ordered the wrong ring, I strongly recommend sending two of the rings you want to match with your return. Include a note that you want them matched and we will let you know what they are. This prevents getting another order that is also a product you can't use. We can attempt to troubleshoot which rings you actually wanted via email if you prefer, but there is error in this method and we may be wrong.
You must wait for our email response about your return request before completing the rest of these steps.
Step 2: Write the Return Request number that was emailed to you on a piece of paper and put it in the box with your item for return. This number look like "RMA-xxxxx-xx"
Step 3: Package your return securely. Most of our products are quite heavy and break out of some boxes or bags without proper
packaging. Make sure the contents are not loose as they will burst the box. Do not use packing material that will compress like peanuts. Low weight returns are best sent in a padded envelope.
Step 4:
Copy the address listed below exactly
and make the notes on the package.
The Ring Lord
Box 290C RR9
Saskatoon, SK
S7K 1P3
Canada
CANADIAN GOODS RETURNING TO MANUFACTURER
Make sure this last note appears quite boldly on the box. If this note is missed we will be charged
brokerage or handling. The cost will be charged to you.
Step 5: Ship the Package
- Send the package via POSTAL SERVICE. Do not send via courier (UPS and FedEx etc). Do not send using an
express service or priority service that boasts getting the package to us within 2 days. This will cause much grief and will delay
the packages arrival by about a week. Faster services offered by the US Postal Service may end up being handed
over to a courier that has can't deliver to us.
- If the item is small, do not ask for a signature. This will get the package to us at least a day faster.
- If you insure the item and you are outside of Canada, a postal service handling charge will be triggered. This charge varies from $5 to about $8 for postal service options, and will be passed onto you as part of the return fee. This charge may also be triggered if you claim a value over around $10. Whether to insure and what value you claim is up to you.
Canadians Only: If the parcel is being returned from within Canada, you may omit the note about Canadian Goods returning. Canada Post is the best option for returning within Canada.
