These instructions are for a scale candle skirt that can be displayed in a Sunflower mode (relaxed) or Lotus Flower mode (forced). The skirts are about 3.5” as a Sunflower and about 2.5” as a Lotus.

Captive Zen is a stiff weave - it is suited for bracelets only for larger wrists. It is suited for pendants, earrings and ornaments.
When made following the rigns in this instruction set exactly, this is an a advanced weave. It is -very tight- and involves custom rings sizes that are precise and picky.
These instructions are for both left and right handed maillers.
We have explored this weave and come up with a set of recommended rings to make this weave considerably easier and more fun to make. We highly recommend our alternative standard ring size list - it makes this weave an intermediate weave instead of advanced!
