Please Note: Some of these scales have a flake of stuck metal from the punch die on the side. It can be removed with your fingernail or plier tip. Any extra material that is like a burr can be broken off by scraping it against a flat surface like a table. This is true for any scale that has any extra material from the punch process - but especially anodized aluminum as they cannot be tumbled.

These are anodized after they are punched so the edges are anodized! They are a beautiful shiny finish and match our bright anodized aluminum colors.
Please do note: they are a very beautiful anodized scale but they are not perfect! The anodizing process requires eletrical contact with the scale so ~some~ scales might have a touch mark by the hole. The scales are racked in such a way that the only touchmark should be by the hole if at all. This is normal and cannot be avoided at this time. Also the shiny finish makes any imperfections stand out so any scratches that were on the scale will show - this is also considered normal. Look at the enlarged pic to see what I mean. Imperfect scales are not considered defective.

Made from polycarbonate- these scales are very light! The are about 40% lighter than the aluminium.
The shape was also engineered and is thicker at the spine and around the hole and thinner at the edge.
These scales have 2 "kick" marks on them near the hole from where they were removed from the mold. You can see this in the large pics.
They look awesome with anodized aluminum rings!
