All colors were made using our bright anodizing technique. The quality of the color is amazing - they are very shiny! (We are no longer putting a star next to the name to denote this) The ends are not anodized. Black Ice can have a slight purple tint to it under some lighting conditions - like fluorescent lamps. Colors may vary from what is pictured and from batch to batch. We minimize this as much as possible, but it still happens.
