Made from polycarbonate, these scales are very light! They are about 40% lighter than the aluminium. Size: 9/16" x 7/8", 0.22" hole (14.3mm x 22.2mm, 5.6mm hole). The shape was also engineered and is thicker at the spine and around the hole and thinner at the edge. They look awesome with anodized aluminum rings! Ring size for standard overlapping scalemail pattern: 18g SWG 3/16" ID Scales per square foot: approximately 1000 You will need 2 rings per scale; more if you are stablizing the edges.
