These are anodized after they are punched so the edges are anodized! They are a beautiful shiny finish and match our bright anodized aluminum colors. Please do note: they are a very beautiful anodized scale but they are not perfect! The anodizing process requires eletrical contact with the scale so ~some~ scales might have a touch mark by the hole. The scales are racked in such a way that the only touchmark should be by the hole if at all. This is normal and cannot be avoided at this time. Also the shiny finish makes any imperfections stand out so any scratches that were on the scale will show - this is also considered normal. Look at the enlarged pic to see what I mean. Imperfect scales are not considered defective. Punched from 1/2 hard temper strip. Thickness is 0.03" unless noted.
