Unless noted otherwise: these kits make ~24" of Byzantine (by weight) - the rings are saw cut and the clasps are stainless. Stainless is more difficult to bend than other materials - these kits are more challenging for beginners. Good wide nose pliers are recommended. For wire thicker than 1.2mm (18g) we recommend our modified pliers or pliers with teeth. Use the detailed info for Byzantine ring sizes to assist iin selecting rings. 
16ga 7/32" = 1.6mm wire 5.75mm ID ~9mm in diameter with a chunky appearance. This is a good size for a larger man.
